The H.O. laboratory of the Board was approved by the Ministry of Environmental and Forests, Govt. of India under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 in 2009. The Board has applied for the renewal of the laboratory under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.The laboratory had already been visited by the Scientists from Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi) on 23.10.2009 and the approval is awaited
